RACING
Join an experienced crew and learn different crew positions on a race boat team.
We race in the Norwalk Islands Greens Ledge Series on Wednesday evenings from early June through to early September. There is usually one race per evening with first gun at 7pm. We assemble and leave the dock in Rowayton at 6pm. This is what they call casual racing or beer can racing, some boats with spinnakers and some without. We race with spinnaker. Pizza is included!
Racing is on Sans Souci a C&C 99 with a performance handicap rating of 105.
Requirements
18 or older, good agility, reasonable strength, ability to swim, a good attitude, no experience required!
Fee
$75 per student per race, $275 for a 4 race package, $750 for the season.
